Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing Apple’s social media strategy within the Gateway market. This individual will be responsible for increasing our brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, and encouraging engagement across all social media platforms. You will work closely with various departments, including product marketing, customer experience, and public relations, to ensure a consistent brand message across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Apple’s marketing objectives and enhances our presence in the Gateway area.
- Manage and grow Apple’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, using analytics to inform strategy and optimize posts.
- Create engaging, high-quality content tailored to each platform that reflects Apple’s values and connects with our audience.
- Collaborate with the content team to produce visually appealing graphics, videos, and copy that tell compelling stories.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and potential PR issues, and respond appropriately.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and generate regular reports that summarize insights and outcomes to help inform future strategies.
- Coordinate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify reach and engagement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to ensure our social media presence remains cutting-edge.
- Organize and execute social media campaigns around product launches, events, and promotions, ensuring timely execution and alignment with marketing goals.
Who You Are

You have a deep understanding of social media dynamics and how to foster relationships with diverse audiences. You are data-driven and have experience interpreting analytics to shape your strategies effectively. Furthermore, you are an excellent communicator with strong writing skills who enjoys collaborating with others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a tech company or a rapidly evolving environment.
- Deep knowledge of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with social media tools and analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
- Creative mindset with a portfolio of content or campaigns demonstrating your skills.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or other design software is a plus.
